Undergraduate Degree Requirements
Chemistry has a significant number of courses that serve as pre-requisites, particularly for the upper-division coursework. Because of the interrelated nature of the major, completion in four years involves less flexiblity in scheduling of classes. To assist students in meeting all requirements in a timely manner, the Department of Chemistry has developed course sequences tied to the results of math placement exams.
Calculus Sequence
This sequence is for students who successfully place out of Math 007. This sequence has the greatest flexibility in the number of electives a student may take to complete the required number of hours for graduation.
